Farshad began studying the santour from an early age. His principle teachers were Faramarz Payvar, Parviz Meshkatian and Pashang Kamkar to which he followed their styles. Farshad's Contemporary approach to Persian Music is in line with the requirements of the developing cultures and made him faithful in expanding the traditions by engaging in various collaborations and different musical participations.

 The gala concerts in Tehran have now been postponed to later on during the year. The changed dates will be updated later on throughout the year.
Ensemble Hafez will be featuring Alireza Ghorbani during their performance in Tehran at the Sa'd Abaad Palace.
